ORDERING:
HMCOMPUTER.com is live time updated, every item on the web
site is assumed in stock or available. In rare cases, however,
we may take your order and then discover that the product
is not available for shipping (i.e., it is damaged or defective).
In this case, we will notify you via e-mail that it is on
back order and do our utmost to fulfill the order as soon
as possible. You will also have the option to cancel the order.
Prices and availability of products on the Site are subject
to change without notice. Errors will be corrected when discovered;
HMCOMPUTER.com reserves the right to revoke any stated offer
and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including
after an order has been submitted).
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Discover. We also accept Personal checks,
Money Orders, Cashier Checks (in U.S Dollars only) pre-paid.
When using these payment methods, please contact our sales

process your order once payment has been cleared. For international
customer, wire transfer is recommended.

Shipping:
In general, orders received by 3 PM (EST) will be processed
and shipped out on the same business day or the next business
day depends on stock availability. Most orders leave our warehouse
within two business days after you place your order. After
it is shipped, we e-mail you shipping details, including a
tracking number. HMCOMPUTER.com must be notified of any Cancellation
within 2 hours of placing the order by phone or email. If
cancellation notice is sent to HMCOMPUTER.com after the order
has been shipped, then the customer becomes liable for both
the initial shipping charges and the return shipping charges.
Customers from outside of the United States as well as customers
from Alaska and Hawaii please contact our sales representatives
during our normal business hours to place orders. Higher shipping
cost and custom duties may apply.
If you would like your order to be shipped to an address
other than your bill to address, the alternate shipping
address needs to be on file with the bank who issued the credit
card. Please have the alternate shipping address on file in
the notes or memo section of your credit card account. We
take this measure to protect our customers and ourselves from
credit card fraud.
Some items are not available for 2nd day shipping method.
Customer may be contacted to offer alternate available shipping
method with new shipping cost. ( For example, TV, Computer
case etc...)
Risk
of loss:
All items purchased from us are made pursuant to a shipment
contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such
items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier *Please
verify quantity/condition and report any problems with the
product/package within 24 hours of delivery. (Physical damage,
incorrect product, etc..) Customer is responsible for paying
any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed
goods. Product(s) damaged in transit will only be executed
after claim with the carrier has been settled.
WARRANTY INFORMATION:
There will be no returns & refund on opened printers,
scanners, extended warranties, batteries, ac adapters, monitor,
retail box items, hard drives, Software and special orders.
All Hard Drives and Retail Box Items are Direct Manufacturer
Warranty.
HMCOMPUTER.com carries 14 days limited warranty on OEM processors
and 6 moths limited warranty on OEM items effective as of
invoice date. CPUs and memories are returnable for warranty
replacement only. All software sales are final. No return
for any opened software. All systems and Kits are supported
and warranted as originally configured. Any software, hardware
and accessories added by the user are not covered, and can
void the warranty if installed improperly.
During the warranty period, HMCOMPUTER.com’ s liability
is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option. Products,
which have been subjected to abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect
or unauthorized repair or installation, as determined solely
by HMCOMPUTER.com, are not covered by this warranty. All warranties
are voided on the product(s) with physical damages, broken
warranty seals or assembly trace. Any alterations, additions,
improvements or attachment to the product(s) not authorized
in writing by HMCOMPUTER.com shall be deemed to be a waiver
of this warranty by Buyer and shall render this warranty null
and void. Warranty policy is not extended beyond the original
buyer. The buyer should inspect the product(s) at delivery
and should notify HMCOMPUTER.com of any defects or discrepancies,
including wrong or missing items within 24 business hours
of the receipt of the product(s). Product(s) is Defective
On Arrival (DOA) should be reported to HMCOMPUTER.com within
2 business days of the receipt date. General warranty does
not include software and we do not provide software support,
software issues would not be covered. Should it become necessary
to return the product, customers will pay the costs to return
the item and HMCOMPUTER.com will pay the costs to ship the
replacement. If the item returned cannot be repaired or exchanged,
HMCOMPUTER.com reserves the right to replace the equipment
with something similar, of equal or greater value.
RETURN POLICY
* Return for Repair: If
you encounter problems with a product within the warranty
period, repair or replacement will be available when it becomes
necessary to return back to us. Upon receipt of your return,
it will be evaluated and tested for the specific problem you
described. It will be at HMCOMPUTER.com’s sole discretion
as to whether we repair or replace the return. If the product
is found to be non-defective, a diagnostic fee of $15.00 and
shipping charge may be assessed.
* Return for Refund
Refunds (does not include the shipping cost) minus 15%
restocking fee is available within 14-days of receipt only,
and will be credited back to your credit card account. All
items must be returned in their original condition, including
the original packaging, manufacturer's containers, documentation,
warranty cards, manuals, security seal, shrink wrap and all
accessories. Do not mark or deface original manufacturer containers
in any manner. There are two options.
For all Returns, please note:
• Software purchases are non-refundable
• Shipping charges are non-refundable
• Return shipping charges are at your expense
• Credit will only be issued after we have verified
that the return has been received in the condition in which
it was sent
And finally, we just would like to let you know that we will
make every effort to provide complete customer satisfaction.
Even for warranty, returns you can expect our same level of
outstanding care and attention. We stand behind our products
and we 100% committed to delivering world-class service.
For replacements, HMCOMPUTER.com ships back to the customer
via UPS ground. This applies only to the continental US. In
non-continental US and all International sales, customer pays
for shipping both ways. If the customer wants faster returned
services, the customer will have to pay for the difference
between UPS ground and the customers selected method.
REQUESTING WARRANTY SERVICE
To request Warranty Service, you must contact HMCOMPUTER.com
within the warranty period and inform us about the problem.
To do so, please email to rma@hmcomputer.com or simply call
us at (860) 953-5178. Once you contact us, we will first try
to remedy the situation. In most cases a simple solution is
close at hand. However, if we determine that Warranty Service
is required, HMCOMPUTER.com will issue a Return Merchandise
Authorization (RMA) number.
HMCOMPUTER.com will not process any warranty claim that has
not been issued an RMA number. Any return without a RMA number
issued will not be accepted.
You may choose any means of return shipping as you wish. Obviously
the quicker it gets to us, the quicker we can perform the
warranty service. It is recommended to use a carrier with
a tracking service and insure your return shipment so that
there is no danger of loss or of further damage to your laptop.
However we must reiterate that whatever shipping method you
choose will be at your expense.
Sending your return package:
Please follow the instructions below to ensure the safe transit
of your return:
• Safely pack the return item. Please make sure that
there is ample protective material around the item and any
accessories.
• Write the RMA number on the outside of the box. Please
note that we do not accept shipments without an RMA number.
Packages that arrive without the RMA number will be returned.
• Call a carrier or drop off the box at the nearest
shipping facility. We suggest you use FedEx,
UPS or DHL
to ship the item back to us. These companies provide you with
a tracking number at the time of shipping so please keep that
number as a proof that you sent the item back to us.
• Make sure that you insure the item for the amount
of your original purchase price. It is your responsibility
to make sure that we receive the item and that it arrives
without any physical damage. If it gets lost or stolen or
gets damaged during shipping, the insurance is the only way
to get reimbursed.
• RMA number is only valid for 10 days from the date
is issued, during which, the product(s) must be shipped back
to the HMCOMPUTER.com for refund or replacement. All warranties
are voided if products returned is insufficiently or improperly
packaged. Products should be promptly returned to the following
address with completed information:
1) Your name (as it appears on your order)
2) Replacement ship to address
3) Phone number that could be reached
4) A detail description of the reason for returning
5) Enclosed with a copy of the invoice
6) RMA# written clearly outside of the shipping box
